Now in its fourth season, the video guide has proven to be an effective way for summer visitors and local folks to learn about interesting events places and businesses along the mid-coast of Maine. The program is supported by the businesses profiled within the program, but there are many aspects of the program that are non commercial in nature. Last season some of those features included places for day hikes, free summer events and local museum profiles. Of course businesses such as tour boats and restaurants appreciate the fact that visitors staying in local hotels and B&amp;B's are made aware of the program with table tents atop the TV sets. The summer video guide is shown 4 times daily from June 15th through September 15th and is also available on the web on demand at his very location.
